Students Speak is an event, organised and supported by the Wakefield Together partnership that gives young people from across the district the opportunity have a say on what’s important to them and look at the issues they feel affect them most.

Students Speak was created after students from Minsthorpe College attended a Wakefield Speaks event in 2007 and requested a similar event for students in the district.

Students Speak events have already proved a massive success and is one of the ways in which the Wakefield Together partnership engagement programme, ensures that Citizens of all ages across the district have an opportunity express their views to the district’s key decision makers in the district.
