Wakefield Spending Review
Citizens from across the district were invited to meet senior partners from Wakefield Together to have their say on the Wakefield spending review and priority setting to discuss what matters to them most and how they can influence change.
Partners including the Council, Police, NHS and Wakefield and District Housing were going to share and discuss some of the difficult decisions they face in light of recent and potential future budget cuts.
To ensure a continuation of delivering excellent services our partners are looking at new ways of delivering services, and how we can do things for less or in different ways.
Due to the adverse weather conditions it was not possible to meet with citizens as planned.
