This Developing Knowledge Communities (Community Strategy) is based on a 25-year shared vision of the future which all key partners have agreed to deliver. 

The Strategy puts forward the best way to improve quality of life in the district. It ensures that all the key organisations are working towards one common goal.  

The Community Strategy is a process that aims to secure the future well-being of people who live and work in the area.

Initially published in 2003 the revised strategy looks at what we need to do next.
